A few reviews of our establishment – Happy Hippo Durban

BY STU · NOVEMBER 18, 2012After a lunch with my Aunt and some family i knew and some i didn’t, i headed to Durban and checked in at the Happy Hippo, with plans to hot-foot it back to the Berg the next day. Not so. I ended up staying two nights and doing a little bit of the tourist experience Durban has to offer.The Happy Hippo is how all hostels in a city should be, housed in a warehouse, with epic decor, spacious and comfortable, exposed beamed ceilings and industrial light fittings, well equipped kitchens and friendly staff to settle you in and sort your days.
