Our vision is to restore destiny to babies and children whose futures are at risk of being negatively impacted by the effects of HIV/AIDS in Durban, KZN, South Africa. We believe in hope, that every child understands their value & has a destiny!

Who We Are

We are local Durban NGO devoted to helping babies and young people regain a meaningful destiny by recognising the value of their lives and being part of a secure family environment.

We are also committed to sharing the knowledge, model of best practice and the curriculum we have created for the benefit of many other organisations (see below) who share the same visions to help babies, children and parents in other areas/communities

Organisations that are currently implementing the HIV Prevention Programme curriculum include:

Domino Foundation implements the curriculum as part of their life skills programme in grades 4, 5, 6 and 7 in three schools in the Amaoti area;
iKusasalethu (Hillside Schools Project) has an outreach programme and use year 4 & 5 curriculum (with learners only) in two high schools in Kwanyuswa;
Philakahle are working with young people in Bergville, Okhahlamba. The curriculum is being implemented as an after-school programme for grades 5 – 9 and impacts approximately 600 children;
I Learn to Live – Ngifundela Ukuphila is a school based programme in Northern KwaZulu-Natal that uses the curriculum in one high school for grades 8 and 9 which includes approximately 350 learners;
LIV Village, Cottonlands, use the year 1 curriculum to teach life skills to their grades 4 – 7 in mixed aged classes; and the curriculum is taught to a vocational group;
LIV Village have also shared our curriculum with Watoto;
